Getting Started

We do our best to make Koopid easy to use. If this is your first time then the best thing you can do is just have a click around to see if you like it. It literally takes a minute to register your name and you can then take a peek at Koopid's bits and pieces. Pretty soon you will want to build your own profile and again this is really quick and easy to do. Don't forget to add your photo (no need to be shy) and make your own Kooper.

Free Registration

Remember that your Koopid profile is free to register. We really want you to be able to have a good look at Koopid before deciding to part with any of your hard earned cash. Just to be clear, here is what you get for free:

Gold Membership

You can keep your free profile on Koopid for as long as you like. We think that once you get a taste for it you will really want to get involved and become a 'Gold Member'.

Because we need to eat something, we do make a small charge if you want to become a 'Gold Member'. But if you are still not convinced, we will let you subscribe for 3 days for only £1.50

Unlike some other sites we could mention, we don't have any other hidden charges (airport tax, swamp insurance etc.) and as a Koopid Goldmember you can enjoy unlimited use of all of Koopid's fantastic features. And if you are going away for a while you can simply suspend your subscription until you get back.

We think Koopid subscription is wonderful value and we hope you will agree.

Your Koopid Profile

It is worth spending a little time later on to add to your Koopid profile.

And always, always add your photo?

Your Koopid profile is a living thing and needs to be nurtured. You can update it as often as you like and every time you log in we will ask you how you are feeling at the time.

And don't forget to add your photo.

Your basic profile is really quick and easy to build (it literally takes two minutes) and you can add to it later if you want. Try to choose a nice Username (as this is one thing you cannot change later).

Oh and did you know that seven (yes seven) times as many people will look at your Koopid profile if you have a photo?

Koowords

Koowords are a new way to personalise your Koopid profile. Just add any words or phrases which help describe you and your interests to others. And remember you can (and should) update your Koowords as often as you like.

MMS Photo Upload

Uploading photos on Koopid is really easy. When you are logged in, just go to your ?My Profile? link and follow the instructions. You can browse the photos on your PC, upload some for your gallery and even add captions.

If you have a mobile phone with a camera (and let?s face it most of us do) you can now send us a photo by MMS.
Take a photo (one with you smiling) or find one in your pictures file.
Select Options (usually the menu key bottom left)
Choose 'Send MMS'
Put KOOPID in the message header.
Add your USERNAME in the message body.
Send to 07843 500911.

You will receive an acknowledgement to your mobile.

Alternatively you can use our Upload page and add a gallery of pictures straight off your PC!

We promise to try to upload all photos within 24 hours but usually much sooner.

Kall Safe Numbers

When you join Koopid we give you your own, unique Kall Safe number which can then be displayed as part of your profile.

Kall Safe lets you to chat to other members without giving away your real landline or mobile number!

With Kall Safe you are always in control.
You can decide whether or not to take an incoming call or send it to voicemail.
You can log in to your voicemail at any time and manage your messages.
You can personalise your Kall Safe voicemail at any time and update it as often as you like.

Calls to Kall Safe numbers are charged at 35p per minute (mobile networks may vary).

Searching

Now you have a profile live on Koopid you basically have two options: You can sit back and wait for hundreds of interesting offers to come your way. Or you can be a little more proactive and start searching for like minded people to talk to. We would always recommend making the first move as life can be short and you should Love every day.

You can search Koopid in different ways. A good way to get started is to get on Koopid Chat and see who's online now.

Koopid Chat

If you want to start having fun right away (and who doesn't?) then get on Koopid Chat. Check out who's in the Lounge and send an invitation to Chat. It really is that simple?

Sending and receiving messages

When you find someone you are interested in you can send them a message. And if they are online at the time you will probably get one back straight away.

Blocking messages

There is always a chance that you may receive a message from someone you just don't want to talk to. It happens. No problem, just click on 'Block' and Koopid's clever messaging system will do the rest.

Sending your Kall Kard

If you want to say 'Hi' but are not sure how to make the first move just send a 'Kall Kard'. Koopid will contact the member in question on your behalf to help get the ball rolling. Your Koopid Kall Kard will include your Kall Safe number.

How Do You Feel?

Each time you log into Koopid we will ask you how you feel. And if you like we can then put you in contact with people who are feeling the same way?
