Introduction

This 'Agreement' is between you as a 'Member' and 'Koopid' as the provider of the 'Site' and the 'Service'. At Koopid we aim to provide a professional Service that is fun and safe to use. Please read through the following 'Terms and Conditions' laid out in this Agreement. These Terms and Conditions are designed to protect our members and to ensure the continued integrity of the Site. If you do not think you can comply with these Terms and Conditions then you must not register or use the Site in any way. By registering as a member or by using the Site you agree to abide by the Terms and Conditions. This Agreement shall be governed by English Law. Any disputes relating to this Agreement shall be subject to the courts of England and Wales and shall be treated as if the Agreement was a contract wholly entered into and wholly performed in England.

Termination of Agreement

We reserve the right to immediately suspend your account and remove your profile, without prior notice, upon any breach of this Agreement by you that is brought to our attention.

Members' Conduct

You must be at least 18 years old to register as a member or to use this Site. By using this Service you warrant that you are 18 years of age or older. You will not impersonate any other person. You will not use this Service to infringe on the privacy rights of any other person. You will not collect personal information about another person for commercial purposes. You will not post advertisements or chain letters on the Site. You will not post content of an offensive nature on the Site. This includes material that is obscene, racially offensive, sexually explicit or any material that may infringe the rights of any other person. You will treat any information sent to you as private and confidential and you will not forward or reproduce such information without the permission of the sender. You will not use this Service to slander or defame any other person. You will not make reference to illegal practices such as drug taking on this Site. You will not use this Service to harass any other person.

Complaints

If you have a complaint regarding the Service or the conduct of another member, you must bring it to our attention as soon as is possible so that the appropriate action may be taken. Profiles and photographs

You will be solely responsible for the content of your profile and for all information you post on the Site. Your profile should be accurate and honest. Koopid does not guarantee the accuracy of the content of members' profiles. Profile photographs should show a head and shoulders view (a typical passport style photo is ideal) and will be edited if appropriate. Photographs containing nudity or any photographs of an offensive nature will not be allowed

Warning

It is possible that other members or unauthorised users may post offensive material on the Site and you may be involuntarily exposed to such material. It is possible for others to obtain personal information about you from your use of the Service and that they might use this information to harass or injure you. Koopid is not responsible for the use of any personal information you may wish to disclose. You should carefully consider what information you wish to disclose when using this Service.

Disclaimer of Warranty

Koopid provides the Service and the Site on an 'as is' basis and grants no warranties of any kind, express, implied, statutory, in communication with Koopid or its representatives, or otherwise with respect to the Service. Koopid specifically disclaims any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Koopid does not warrant that your use of the Service will be secure, uninterrupted, always available, or error free, or will meet your requirements or provide the results you want, or that any defects in the Service will be corrected. Koopid disclaims liability for, and no warranty is made with respect to, telephone service, including coverage, range or any interruption in telephone service.

Limitation of Liability

In no event will Koopid be liable to you or any other person than you for any incidental, consequential, or indirect damages (including, but not limited to, damages for loss of data, loss of programs, cost of procurement or substitute services or service interruptions) arising out of the use of or inability to use the Service or the site, even if Koopid or its agents or representatives know or have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Notwithstanding any contrary provision herein but subject to the foregoing limitation on liability, in all events Koopid?s liability to you or any other person, for any cause whatsoever, and regardless of the form of the action, will at all times be limited to the amount paid, if any, by you to Koopid for the Service during the term of membership.

Privacy Policy and Data Protection

At Koopid we are committed to protecting your privacy. One of the key features of our Service is that you may remain anonymous to other members until such a time that you choose to reveal any personal contact details. We want our members to feel comfortable that their personal details are properly protected. This 'Privacy Policy' is a statement of what information we collect and what we use it for. When you use our service we collect both non-personally identifiable information as well as personally identifiable information. Non-personally identifiable information is used to help improve our service and to record numbers of visitors etc. Personally identifiable information is used to positively identify you to Koopid and to send you bulletins and messages regarding our service. This information is not made available to other users nor is it passed to any third party. Additional information is used to form a profile of you and which is made available to other members. This profile does not contain any personally identifiable information.

Data Protection

The personal details you provide in your registration are private and are properly protected. This information is not made available to other members. Koopid is registered with the Data Protection Commissioner under the Data Protection Act 1998. However, the information you provide in your profile is deemed to be in the public domain. If you do not wish your details to be made public then do not post a profile.
